This is great news. The more platforms Flash runs on, the happier I am. When I’m happy, nobody dies.

Mike Melanson of Penguin.swf posted a while ago that the Flash 9 Player is beginning to become quite stable, and that they’re testing some lower-level functionality.
Alas! Sitting here on my Ubuntu desktop, I still eagerly await the day when I don’t have to use Wine or IES4Linux to view Flash 8/9 content.
